Minister Michael Fisher
Minister Michael Fisher was born in Jamaica as the youngest son of Michael
Cluney and Thalbertha Fisher. In 1997 He migrated to Bermuda with Collins
and Thalbertha Fisher.
Prior to being the youth pastor at Emmanuel Baptist in 2003, Minister Michael served the New Testament Churches of God in the Islands of Bermuda in a number of areas. These included Island Youth Board Rep., Island Men's Fellowship Board Rep., Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher.
The New Testament fellowship granted Michael his exhorter license in October 2002. Additionally, Minister Michael holds two Associate degrees from Bermuda College in science and math and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Dalhousie University. Presently he is undertaking the Masters in Divinity program at Acadia Divinity College.
Having received Christ at age eight, Michael's heart is that people, but more specifically young people, will pursue and experience a truly passionate and fulfilling relationship with God. Min., as he is affectionately called by students believe that regardless of how old we grow in our walk with God, we cannot ignore the freshness of starting each day as a new relationship with Him.
Minister Michael serves God through the five-foldanointing and a strong spirit of discernment. He credits God's calling, gifts and anointing on his life not to his own faithfulness and devotedness to God but to the abundant grace, the extensive mercy and the immeasurable love that God purposefully favored him with. To this end, he concludes; "I am who I am, because God is who He is." |
