| Mount Saint Vincent University, the Council on African Canadian Education and the African Canadian Service Division Nova Scotia Department of Education are partners in offering the Master of Education (non-thesis) and the Master of Arts in Education in the Studies in Lifelong Learning with a Focus on Africentric Leadership.
The goals of this degree are to address the under representation of African Nova Scotian educators in leadership roles, and to prepare a critical mass of qualified educators who can help to guide the Africentric Learning Institute.
Courses in the degree use a critical analytical approach to prepare those concerned with lifelong learning to work and learn in a variety of contexts and to effectively address a range of contemporary learning challenges.
